The District
As part of the ShadowGlen development, the Wilbarger Creek Municipal Utility District #1 (the MUD) is located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Manor, within Travis County. The MUD provides water, sanitary sewer, drainage, and flood control facilities and services to an area of approximately 300 acres, which includes the Laurel Trace and Stonebridge neighborhoods.

Amenities available to residents include a large 4 acre center with clubhouse, gym and pool; over 6 miles of pedestrian access and trails; and a multi-use field and pocket park. Other amenities are planned as the development grows, including access to future nature trails.

The MUD is in the Manor Independent School District, which offers fine schools for all grade levels.

Notice regarding November 5, 2024 Director Election
The District is governed by a Board of five members that serve staggered four-year terms. In accordance with Texas Water Code § 49.103, director elections are held on the November uniform election date, or the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, in even-numbered years. The District's next director election will be held on November 5, 2024 at the polling places for each election precinct within the District established by Travis County, Texas. full notice, plus en espanol

Water Restrictions

NOTICE:
STAGE 3 WATER RESTRICTIONS
In Effect

Remaining Consistent with the District’s Drought Contingency Plan, which is required by State law, the District implemented Stage 3 mandatory watering restrictions effective August 3, 2023 in an effort to manage the water supply, and ability to provide firefighting supply. The goal for Stage 3 is to achieve a 30% reduction in average daily water use.

a. Landscape Irrigation Use will be prohibited except where use is limited for trees, gardens, and flowers by a faucet filled bucket or watering can of five (5) gallons or less between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.;

b. Use of soaker hoses on landscaped areas, except lawns, is permitted only from 6:oo a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 8:oo p.m. to 11:59 p.m.;

c. The washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, boats, and other types of mobile equipment will be prohibited;

d. The use of water to top off any indoor or outdoor swimming pools, wading pools, or jacuzzi-type pools will be prohibited:

Violations of the Stage 3 mandatory watering restrictions will be subject to a $500.00 fine or the installation of a flow-restriction device, and repeat violations may be subject to termination of water service.
