STAGE 3 WATER RESTRICTIONS

Remaining Consistent with the District’s Drought Contingency Plan, which is required by State law, the District implemented Stage 3 mandatory watering restrictions effective August 3, 2023 in an effort to manage the water supply, and ability to provide firefighting supply. The goal for Stage 3 is to achieve a 30% reduction in average daily water use.
a. Landscape Irrigation Use will be prohibited except where use is limited for trees, gardens, and flowers by a faucet filled bucket or watering can of five (5) gallons or less between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.;
b. Use of soaker hoses on landscaped areas, except lawns, is permitted only from 6:oo a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 8:oo p.m. to 11:59 p.m.;
c. The washing of automobiles, trucks, trailers, boats, and other types of mobile equipment will be prohibited;
d. The use of water to top off any indoor or outdoor swimming pools, wading pools, or jacuzzi-type pools will be prohibited:

Violations of the Stage 3 mandatory watering restrictions will be subject to a $500.00 fine or the installation of a flow-restriction device, and repeat violations may be subject to termination of water service.
